Starting bright and early in Dundas, Ontario on September 22, riders geared up for the 2024 ALS Canada Revolution Ride – hitting the 12km, 40km, and 90km routes fueled by determination and commitment to honour the people we’ve loved and lost while raising awareness and support for ALS. You can look back at the magic of the day in our photo album and reflect on the unmatched energy encompassing the event as we came together to make a difference. Thanks to all our riders and generous supporters, the 2024 ALS Canada #RevolutionRide has raised an amazing $213,000 and counting! Both on and off the road, your support is what made this event one for the books.
The ALS community’s commitment to overcoming a challenge head-on as a team was on full display at the 2024 ALS Canada Pull to End ALS on October 19. The task of pulling a 42,000-lb transport truck may have been the headliner challenge on event day, but attendees and supporters knew what truly fueled the momentum that day was the determination to create change for the 4,000 Canadians living with ALS. This year, 11 teams rolled up their sleeves, took on the truck, and helped raise an incredible $220,000 and counting for the 2024 Pull to End ALS – funds that are critical for research investment, community-based support services, and advocacy initiatives! ALS Canada would like to thank everyone who participated and supported Revolution Ride and the Pull to End ALS. This fall has been a powerful reminder that when we come together, we can make a real difference in working towards a world free of ALS. To add to the excitement of fall events, ALS Canada is also pleased to announce we have officially hit our $1.9 million goal for the 2024 ALS Canada Walk to End ALS – an incredible achievement that couldn’t have been reached without the help of our generous supporters – like you! – and the commitment each of you have to creating change for Canadians living with ALS and their families while honouring the people we love and the people we’ve lost.
