For the second year in a row, Orangetheory Fitness is giving its members (and the community) a way for you to make an impact while getting in a good workout. It’s a win-win!
On May 1, 2019, Orangetheory Fitness is launching a campaign throughout Canadian studios to benefit the ALS Canada Research Program. Their inaugural 2018 year in Canada resulted in an amazing $250,000 being donated to the ALS Canada Research Program. They’re back again this year working out toward a future without ALS with a fundraising goal of $400,000!
The inspiration behind the campaign is Augie Nieto – fitness guru and founder of Life Fitness – who was diagnosed with ALS in 2005. His passion for fitness, both before and after his diagnosis, has inspired thousands of people to live a more active lifestyle. To find a studio near you, visit their website.
If you’re unable to visit a studio or can’t find one in your community, you can still contribute to the ALS Canada Research Program by donating here. Funds raised through Augie’s Quest in support high-quality ALS research with the most promise to slow down or stop the disease through the ALS Canada Research Program.
