ALS Canada Buck-A-Puck for ALS is back! This event unites young athletes and their passion for hockey with fundraising and awareness building for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) – a disease that affects nearly 4,000 Canadians and their families.
The concept is simple: for every dollar donated to a participant, they take a shot on the net—whether at practice, during a game, or in the driveway at home. Each shot represents meaningful action, turning Canada’s favourite sport into an opportunity to make a difference.
This grassroots initiative encourages young people to get involved in opportunities that support their communities. More than just a fundraiser, it shows that no action is too small, as our collective efforts contribute to a world free of ALS.
Every dollar raised goes directly to the ALS Canada Research Program, the only national dedicated source of funding for ALS research across Canada. By participating, young players are helping to advance our understanding of ALS and develop treatments that can improve the lives of people affected by the disease.
